The Back Field
Turning the corner, I saw a golden aura surrounding and bathing the entire field.
The night sang with frogs. The air smelled of cattails, hay dust, and cow sweat. And something in my soul recognized it as an in-between spot. A portal.
This is what I've been trying to capture ever since.
